    Buddhist believe that there is Buddha’s foot-print inscribed on the top of the mount. Hindus believe it to be God Shiva's footprint whereas Christians and Muslims believe it to be Adam's footprint. People from all these religions go for homage.
  • March to Kataragama
    Skandhakumara is a god of Indian origin. For Sinhala Buddhists he is God Kataragama and is a pious Buddhist god. These are a group of Tamil Hindu people coming from Jaffna passing long distance on foot to do homage to God Kataragama at Kataragama Devāle, in Southern Sri Lanka.
  • Madu Church
    All those who visit Madu church are not Christians or Catholics.
  • Biobab Tree
    Biobab, an African tree was planted by African Naval officers in around 1477 in Manar. It is maintained by St. Luzia church in Pallemunai, Mannar. It attracts every visitor.
